ABSTRACT: This paper proves the expediency of the vehicle developmental prototype use with a Range Extender unit and touches upon its production. It contains layout solutions for mounting of the engine-generator unit, thermostatting systems and electric energy storage of the vehicle, as well as describes in details the developed principal scheme of the liquid cooling system.
