Fabián is a Full Professor at Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (Cinvestav Saltillo), Mexico (November 2010-present). His professional expertise has been in the academic sector as a Full Professor and Scientific Coordinator at Universidad Tecnológica de Tulancingo (July 2009- November 2010) and recently as a Full Professor (November 2010-present) and Academic Coordinator (May 2015-present) at Cinvestav Saltillo.. Fabián has been a reviewer of more than 20 high impact peer-reviewed journals. Fabián is member of Researchers-National Systems in level I. He is an accredited scientific evaluator for research project proposals by Conacyt, and he is a visiting professor at Center of Applied Biotechnology Research (CIBA-IPN). He has also been technically responsible for several research projects with financial support by the Mexican government.
Fabián has authored or co-authored more than 40 scientific papers in internationally reputable journals, four science articles, six books, and nineteen book’s chapters
Research areas: plant-environment interactions; agricultural nanotechnology; bioremediation; soil pollution; plant environment interactions, but he is also interested in the effect of nanoparticles on crops, soils, and microorganisms.
