ABSTRACT: Phytochemical screening has been carried out with three different leaf extracts of Croton caudatus Geisel (petroleum ether 60-80, ethyl acetate and methanol), followed by their TLC profiling. Phytochemical analysis reveals the presence of diverse groups of phytochemicals with structural characteristics as evident by their characteristic Rf values in different solvent systems, followed by matching them with that of the reference.
