The aim of the work was to study the anti nephrolithiatic activity of various extracts of pedalium murex. Petroleum ether, chloroform, ethanol and aqueous extracts of the plant were prepared and evaluated for anti nephrolithiasis activity. Albino rats were treated with the prepared extracts. Thus it may be concluded that pedalium murex possesses significant anti nephrolithiatic activity.
