A Behavioral Biometric Authentication System Based on Memory Game

ABSTRACT:
Securingthe login process to identify the users of computers and network services such as e-banks and web-basedmails isof significance importance.Behavioral biometrics authentication techniques are reliable methodsto improvesecurity ofsystems.In this paper,we introduce anovel biometricsecurity technique based on mouse movementsto verify users. In this system samples are captured while users are playing a memory game.A customizedsoftware is used to collect theX, Y coordinates of mouse interactions. Furthermore, autoregressive (AR) modeling is usedfor future extraction.To calculate theEqual Error Rate (EER)of the system, three distance classifiers are employed. By applying Euclidian distance, minimum EER of 2.1 % was achieved.Manhattan and Mahalanobisdistance functionsproducedhigher EERof 5.9% and 19%, respectively.
