While, in recent years, phenolic acid supplementation has been associated to enhanced cognitive function and the prevention of cognitive deterioration. The pharmacological effects of phenolic acid are discussed in this review. And gives the overview of role of Reactive oxygen Species (ROS), oxidative stress and antioxidants in neuropathy, and stated the strong relation between stress, tension, hectic lifestyle and neurodegenerative diseases.
