Prof. Galdino received his Bachelor Degree (BSc) in Biological Sciences from Department of Biology from Federal University of Ceara (UFC), Brazil and subsequently completed his Master Degree in Biochemistry at Department of Biochemistry, UFC. He completed his PhD in Molecular Biology at cellular biology department from University of Brasília (UnB). After that, he held the position of Postdoctoral Fellow in applied immunology at Molecular Biology Laboratory from UnB. During the Postdoctoral position, He worked with innovation in diagnosis kits for human health, producing various recombinant proteins patentable. During their studies, he has dedicated his efforts in the field of cloning and expression of the heterologous gene in microorganisms (bacteria and yeasts) in order to obtain innovative enzymes and new antigenic targets for human and animal diagnosis industry. He has international collaboration with the Limerick Institute and Technology (LIT, Ireland), Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia), Central Drug Research Institute (India) and Universidad Catolica de Santa Maria (Peru) Nowadays, Galdino is an associate professor II at Universidade Federal de Sao Joao Del-Rei, Divinópolis, MG, Brazil.
