Prof. Dr. Eugene A. Silow is currently working as a Professor of Institute of Biology and Invertebrate Zoology Chair, Irkutsk State University. He has been invited to deliver public lectures at leading scientific organizations and the universities of Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, France, China, Korea and others. He participated in the organization and conduction of international schools for junior researchers at lakes Baikal and Leman/Geneva. He has performed research work in leading scientific centres of Europe. His studies are of international interest. His article “Lake-wide physical and biological trends associated with warming in lake Baikal” was honoured as the best paper of the 2016 year with ‘Chandler-Misener award’ of 2017 and also he honoured with ‘Best Books of 2012’ in the category of best edition in natural sciences, techniques, medicine by Association of book-editors of Russia.
